The Ferrari F40 is a sports car produced by Ferrari from 1987 to 1992. It was designed to celebrate Ferrari's 40th anniversary and was the last car to be personally approved by Enzo Ferrari. The F40 is based on the Ferrari 288 GTO Evoluzione and was designed by Pininfarina. It is powered by a 2.9-liter V8 engine that produces 478 horsepower. The F40 has a top speed of 201 mph and can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.8 seconds. It was Ferrari's fastest production car at the time of its release. Only 1,315 F40s were produced, making it a rare and collectible car.
