The rain was coming down hard, and the wind was whipping through the streets of the city. The man in the black coat and hat pulled his collar up around his neck and hunched his shoulders against the cold. He was on his way to meet a contact, and he didn't want to be late.
He turned down a side street and into an alleyway. The alleyway was dark and deserted, and the only sound was the rain echoing off the walls. The man walked quickly, his footsteps echoing in the silence.
He reached the end of the alleyway and turned into a small courtyard. In the middle of the courtyard was a door, and the man knocked on it.
The door opened, and a man stepped out. He was tall and thin, with long black hair and a beard. He was wearing a black suit and tie, and he had a cold, calculating look in his eyes.
"Hello," the man in the black coat said. "I'm here to see Mr. Smith."
"I'm Mr. Smith," the man in the black suit said. "What do you want?"
"I have a proposition for you," the man in the black coat said. "I'm looking for someone to help me with a job."
"What kind of job?" Mr. Smith asked.
"It's a job that requires a certain set of skills," the man in the black coat said. "Skills that you have."
Mr. Smith smiled. "I'm listening," he said.
The man in the black coat told Mr. Smith about the job. He told him about the target, and he told him about the reward.
Mr. Smith listened attentively, and when the man in the black coat was finished, he nodded.
"I'm in," he said. "What do you need me to do?"
The man in the black coat told Mr. Smith what he needed him to do. He told him when and where to meet, and he told him what to bring.
Mr. Smith nodded. "I'll be there," he said.
The man in the black coat turned and walked away. He disappeared into the rain, and Mr. Smith watched him go.
Mr. Smith smiled. He had a new job to do, and he was looking forward to it.
